Attend Tech Cities – Tech Industry Event This Friday in Redmond

Hello Readers,

A great event is taking place this Friday, Oct. 11 at the Microsoft campus in Redmond.

It is a Tech Cities Coalition – Tech Industry event where Gov. Jay Inslee will speak, Hadi Partovi, founder of Code.org will talk about computer science education and Bill Richter, Isilon/EMC CEO will give remarks on the state of the tech industry.

Redmond Mayor John Marchione and WTIA CEO Michael Schutzler will co-host this no cost event that begins at 8:30 a.m and ends at 1:30 p.m.

See attached agenda for more details. The Tech Cities Coalition is a group of Washington cities that either have a significant presence of tech companies or wish to attract more tech companies to their area.

WTIA has established a solid working relationship with these cities to help each other achieve public policy goals around education, intrastructure and business/economic climate issues.
